This cake smash theme was so fun to put together! I couldn't wait to get out all my camping props, pinecones, and trees again!. All of these fun cake smash sessions take place in my Sandy Utah photography studio and parents get to come with the theme set up, cake ready and a matching outfit to boot. We went with a little tent, some greenery, a lantern and a cute smore's cake to finish off the look.

After letting him play around a little bit, we pulled out the cake! A yummy chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and topped with graham crackers, chocolate candy and mini marshmallows! My baker is truly a genius! We had so much fun watching cute Mason dig into his cake! I can't imagine a better theme for his cake smash pictures!

After the cake portion of the smash I will usually pull out my cream tub and fill it with some warm water so that parents can take home a clean baby instead of one covered in frosting! And why miss out on the fun when we can take pictures of that too? Obviously, the smiles did not stop there. Baby Mason loved the splash portion and delighted us with the absolute best faces. 

I had the most fun celebrating his birthday with him and can't wait to celebrate with more sweet families the rest of this year!
