Sweet baby Gael!!

All of these fun cake smashes take place in my Sandy Utah portrait studio and parents get to come with the theme set up, cake ready and a matching outfit to boot. We went with the classic balloon garland because what could be more perfect for a first birthday cake smash session? Plus the blue, green and yellow colors were so happy and matched Gael's personality perfectly. He was such a smiley baby!  

After taking pictures with the decorations and letting him play with the wooden spoon, we pulled out his cake! A delicious strawberry colored cake with green frosting to look like Cocomelon. He was not too sure about it at first, but after cutting him a little piece he just had a ball as you can see! 

After the cake portion of the smash I will usually pull out my cream tub and fill it with some warm water so that parents can take home a clean baby instead of one covered in frosting! And why miss out on the fun when we can take pictures of that too? Obviously, the smiles did not stop there. Baby Gael loved the splash portion and delighted us with the absolute best faces. I had the most fun celebrating his birthday with him and can't wait to celebrate with more sweet families the rest of this year!
