Sweet baby Finn!!

All of these fun cake smashes take place in my Sandy Utah portrait studio and parents get to come with the theme set up, cake ready and a matching outfit to boot. We did a Koala theme for Finn because his dad is from Australia. We went with the classic balloon garland because what could be more perfect for a first birthday cake smash session? Plus the blue, sage green, gold and white colors were so perfect for this Koala theme.

After taking pictures with the decorations, we pulled out his cake! A delicious vanilla cake with grey frosting to look like a koala. He was not too sure about it at first, but after dad showed him how to dig in to it he was all about it! 

After the cake portion of the smash I will usually pull out my cream tub and fill it with some warm water so that parents can take home a clean baby instead of one covered in frosting! And why miss out on the fun when we can take pictures of that too? Obviously, the smiles did not stop there. Baby Finn loved the splash portion and delighted us with the absolute best faces. I had the most fun celebrating his birthday with him and can't wait to celebrate with more sweet families the rest of this year!
