This cake smash theme was so fun to put together! All of these fun cake smashes take place in my Sandy Utah portrait studio and parents get to come with the theme set up, cake ready and a matching outfit to boot. We went with fresh vegetables, honey pots and the character stuffed animals for this set up along with a backdrop for the background and twinkling lights.  

We always start out with family pictures to help baby get a little acclimated to the environment. Afterwards we got her dressed for the cake smash session in the cutest Winnie the Pooh romper, we let her play with the stuffed characters first and the we then pulled out her cake! It was the cutest cake decorated to look like a honey pot!! Her parents raved over the taste and said they enjoyed the untouched portion at home!

After the cake portion I will usually pull out my cream tub and fill it with some warm water so that parents can take home a clean baby instead of one covered in frosting! And why miss out on the fun when we can take pictures of that too? Obviously, the smiles did not stop there. Baby Nyla loved the splash portion and delighted us with the best faces.  

I had the most fun celebrating Nyla's birthday with her and can't wait to celebrate with more sweet families the rest of this year!
