Happy Birthday Baby Charlotte!

Charlotte is turning one and just like every first birthday around here, we had to celebrate with a cake smash! We went with a gorgeous, classic floral theme and you know I love any chance to use my twinkle lights! We got some beautiful portraits of her and once we were ready for the cake we switched gears and went with a little more of a simple white backdrop and a giant dusty rose balloon.  All of these fun cake smashes take place in my Sandy Utah portrait studio and parents get to come with the theme set up, cake ready and a matching outfit to boot making it such a seamless experience.

After the cake portion of the smash I will usually pull out my cream tub and fill it with some warm water so that parents can take home a clean baby instead of one covered in frosting! And why miss out on the fun when we can take pictures of that too? We had so much fun watching her splash and make silly faces. I had the most fun celebrating her birthday with her and can't wait to celebrate with more sweet families the rest of this year!
